At Roseville Premier, mistakes are allowed. Learning and failing are closely related. The key is that you get up and carry on and learn from your mistakes. We help the children strengthen their own strengths and weaken their weaknesses by teaching to properly execute the correct decision on the field. Varied and intense training, which allows the players to constantly work with the ball with a high number of repetitions.
The long-term development of a young soccer player will- and must always outweigh a win. More importantly, we focus on enjoyment. Kids won't develop when they don’t enjoy what they are doing. Enjoyment is the prerequisite that enables performance and success!
Children do not learn in the same way as adults, especially when the
learning process involves both intellectual and physical activity”

Goalkeepers need to be taught proper technique that backs up their speed, agility and soccer IQ. All goes hand in hand. How to catch, how to slide, how to punch....
Speed and timing of speed. When to come out. Explosiveness when it counts. Being on your toes all game long.
The game is played from the back. GK need to learn to use their feet the same as a field player does. Footskill is part of today's game.
Left, right, up, down, speed and timing. All of this can not only be taught but it needs to be practiced. Agility is key in order to be a successful GK.
Understand the Game. See The Game. Coach The Game. No one has a better view than the GK. We teach our GK to coach on the field.
GK are the leaders on the field. Being vocal, moving on after mistakes and holding teammates accountable. That is confidence.
