Roseville Premier is excited to announce a new Club foundation & structure. Starting with the 2022/2023 season, Premier teams will have unrivaled, world-class instruction & opportunities. But we know you have questions about what these changes mean for you. Please see our FAQ's by scrolling below
Yes. One of the things we’ve heard from Roseville Premier families is that our dedicated, volunteer coaches care about players as athletes and people in a way that can’t be bought. Our new model maintains that valuable relationship.
YES! Roseville Premier’s volunteer coaches include former collegiate and even professional players, many of whom hold national coaching licenses from the US Soccer Federation. “Volunteer” doesn’t mean “inexperienced:” it means that they’re dedicated to our teams because of their passion for the game and commitment to our youth.
These full-time staff members live and breathe soccer; it’s their day job (and night job!). They will be designing Club-wide curriculum for Premier coaches, attending training sessions, and leading their own sessions with Premier teams and players. Not only will they elevate the level of coaching throughout the Club, but they will also ensure that players hear different coaching perspectives, which will aid player development.
The short answer is that our Club’s families asked for more professional training opportunities. For the longer answer, please click below
Our goal is to be the top destination for soccer fanatics, as well as those young athletes who wish to continue playing other sports. Teams will have two strategy-oriented sessions weekly and a third pool training aimed at tactical/technical development. For players who want even more soccer, there will be additional training opportunities—goalkeeping clinics, striking sessions, defensive positioning, or just street soccer.
These dues covers all Club training sessions; Age Group Director ‘pool training;’ specialized, positional instruction; and the Club curriculum that will be developed behind the scenes for Premier coaches. It also pays for improved Club operations, and it includes the projected cost of the Club’s forthcoming all-weather training facility.
The first month's dues are due at the time of registration and are on top of the $280/player registration fee. Thereafter, dues are due on the first of every month and will be billed to your card on file with GotSport. It is also an option to pay the club dues in full with a lump sum payment of $900.
Yes. The annual Club registration fee is $280 per player.
Additionally, each team manages its own budget to pay for tournament expenses, league fees, etc. Because of the level of Club-provided instruction, we expect that many team specific expenses (excluding club fees) to likely decrease for the 2022-2023 season, but in years past they have ranged between $400 - $600 per player per year. Thus, the total, all-in cost (registration + Club dues + team fees) for a year of competitive soccer with Roseville Premier should range between $1,500 - $1,800. This is lower than all comparable local clubs—and half the cost of what many of our competitors charge.
Roseville Premier is committed to providing year-round soccer opportunities; all Premier players will have the opportunity to play year-round. While it is true that the types of soccer activities will vary by season (to avoid player burnout, further player development, etc.), all players will pay the same Club dues.
Registration ($280/player) is due when a player signs up to pay. Club dues ($900 annually) may be paid upfront or, if a parent prefers, billed in twelve monthly installments of $75/month with the first month due at the time of registration, and billed thereafter on the first of the month.
Yes. Club dues are annual in nature; monthly billing is one option to pay the dues in full.
All Roseville Premier players will have access to regular training, ‘pool training,’ and other specialized, position-specific sessions.
This will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis: please speak to your child’s coach and the Director of Coaching.
Yes. As all parents know, it is becoming difficult for players to straddle the commitments of multiple competitive sports. Roseville Premier is committed to building the best teams, providing the best instruction, and leading the soccer community in the broader Sacramento region. For youth players to maximize his/her potential as a soccer player, s/he needs to be on the field and training with his/her team as frequently as possible. With that said, many players successfully navigate the commitments.
